Waterfront Lifeguarding Course
Crystal Lake Beach Club offers the Red-Cross Waterfront Lifeguarding Course in a blended learning format.
This course includes Lifeguarding, First Aid, CPR and AED for the professional rescuer, required to work at pools and the additional Waterfront skills necessary to work at a lake facility.
Students must be a minimum of 15 years old in order to take the class and be strong swimmers. Please note to work as a lifeguard at a lake facility you must be a minimum of 16 years old.
The course requires successful independent study online prior to beginning the on-site skill work. Students must also pass a pre-requisite swim test in order to continue the course.
Due to COVID-19 Executive Order Waterfront Lifeguarding Classes will not be taught at the beach club, until further notice.
